Wireless Infrastructure Group (“WIG”) is a telecoms infrastructure company owning and managing mobile cell sites in the UK and Europe.

In addition to the operation and management services it provides to manages and wireless service providers, it manages the access, development and rental streams for 25,000 sites on behalf of landowners. 

WIG was the largest UK independent owner/manager of mobile cell sites owning over 1,000 tower sites and managing over 2,500 ground leases prior to its sale to a leading international tower investor.

Penta invested in WIG in February 2001 to assist with the expansion of the business and since has recapitalised the business before its eventual sale in late 2012 generating a return of 2.4x cost of investment.
